| Abstract |
For a nonnegative measurable function its
rearrangement (or Schwarz symmetrization) is the
unique radially symmetric function which is non-increasing
(in radius) and whose super-level sets have the same
measure as the initial function. It turns out to
be a very useful notion, in particular for some
elliptic PDEs.
